A new residential permit for 4861 N Hermitage Avenue in the Uptown neighborhood has been approved. Under development by Padraic Connolly, the proposed four-story building will house eight residential units, replacing a single-family frame residence.
The firm Stoneberg + Gross Architects is listed as the architect of record. While there were no blueprints online, the filing indicated a rooftop stair penthouse and an occupiable roof deck.
Regarding parking, the development will include two four-car detached garages. Transit options nearby include bus Routes 50, 78, 81, and 92, all within close range, while the Ravenswood Metra Station and Damen Brown Line stop are also within walking distance.
Longford Construction is the general contractor for the project. The reported construction cost is around $1,650,000. An estimated completion date for the project has yet to be provided.
