New permits have been issued for a three-story multi-unit building located at 2260 W Erie Street in the West Town neighborhood. The parcel address is 2258 W Erie Street and the permit owner has been listed as Faha Management and plans show this will be a two-flat, with a basement level and a rooftop deck. The building will feature rear decks on the first and second floors as well as a connecting metal egress stair.
Michael S Cox is the architect of record. There are no publicly available renderings at this time, but the permit does list a masonry exterior and an accompanying two-vehicle masonry garage.
The lot is in a very walkable neighborhood with many accessible retail and dining options nearby. Bus service for Route 49 can be found at the Western & Huron stop via a four-minute walk west. The Ukrainian National Museum is a three-minute walk from the property. There are many retail and dining options along nearby Western and Chicago Avenues.
Faha Management LLC will also be serving as the general contractor on the project which has a reported cost of $850,000. A timeline for the build hasn’t been revealed.
