A new construction permit has been issued for a four-story, 18-unit residential building with retail space on the first floor at 754 North Bishop Street in West Town. The permit was applied for on April 16 and issued on September 25, taking 162 days to process.
The building will feature a garage on the first floor with space for 18 cars, decks on the second, third, and fourth stories, a rooftop deck, and an elevator overrun. One exterior loading berth will be built as per the plans.
Total fees for the project are $61,893.30, with $43,223.30 for building permits, $1,750 for zoning, and $16,920 in other fees. All fees have been paid.
The owner is listed as Volo Holdings LLC-1445 Chicago Series. They are working alongside architect John Hanna. The reported construction cost is $8,881,500.
