A permit has been issued for a new construction project at 4911 North Western Avenue in Ravenswood. The permit was issued on June 24 through a self-certification process that took 291 days.
The project involves the construction of a four-story, three-unit residential building with masonry construction. The building will include a basement, roof deck, and a three-vehicle masonry garage with a roof deck.
The reported cost of the project is $565,000. Various fees were paid for the permit, including a $3,163.72 building fee, a $1,575 zoning fee, and $2,506 in other fees, totaling $7,244.72. Plans were designed by self-certified architect John Joyce.
When complete, 4911 North Western Avenue will be located a short walk from the Western CTA Station, which services the Brown Line.
