Renovation permits have been issued for a residential building at 2828 West Fulton Street in East Garfield Park. The renovation plans to convert the existing building’s structure, which features two dwelling units, into a three-unit structure.
The project, which has a budget of $25,000, is being spearheaded by owner Pauline Atou. Architect Luis Martinez designed the plans for the renovation. Work will include comprehensive interior and exterior updates, including architectural changes, plumbing enhancements, HVAC system upgrades, and electrical work. Ramirez General Construction Inc is the project’s general contractor.
2828 West Fulton Street is located steps from bus service for Route 94. Beyond that, the Kedzie CTA Station and Kedzie Metra Station, which service the Green Line and UP West Line Train respectively, are both a short walk to the west of the property.
