A renovation project is in progress at 2443 West Eastwood Avenue in Ravenswood, focusing on the interior overhaul of the two-unit residential building at the address. The project, which has a budget of $60,000, is being led by owner Paudie O’Shea.
The renovation has been designed by architect Marco Gutierrez. Work will encompass a new apartment layout, along with the duplexing of the building’s first-floor unit to the basement. Beyond that, key upgrades will include modernized kitchens and bathrooms, the installation of a new HVAC system, and an upgraded 200-amp electrical system. Contractor teams from Posh Construction LLC and Aquatech Mechanical Contractors Inc will work together to see work to completion.
2443 West Eastwood Avenue is located a short walk from stops for the 11, 49, X49, and 49B bus lines. Beyond that, the Western CTA Station, which services the Brown Line, is also a short walk to the north-east of the property.
