A permit for the construction of a new gas station has been granted to 103rd St Property, LLC, led by Mohamed Mohsin. The site, located at 505 E 103rd St in Rosemoor, will see the development of a gas station and convenience mart on a previously vacant lot.
Damian Babicz from Des Plaines, IL, has been appointed as the architect for the project, ensuring all work aligns with the 2019 Chicago Building Code standards. The plans include the addition of new fencing, a masonry trash enclosure, and parking spaces to accommodate visitors and staff. The project management and construction will be undertaken by Enterprise Construction Group based in Palos Hills, IL.
The permit application process began on July 26, 2021, and concluded on October 27, 2023. The total cost of the permit fees amounted to $3,475, with the project’s budget set at $800,000.

While I’m always happy to see investment, a gas station about two blocks away from a Metra station isn’t quite what I had in mind…
Not Wanted here!!!!
I’m wondering why build a new gas station mini market across the street from the exact type of business which failed. I hope your prices will be reasonable, the facilities are keep up and the community residents and customers are respected… otherwise this business will not last long either.
