  1. Just want to point out that Douglass Park isn’t a neighborhood. It is the name of the park within the community area/neighborhood of North Lawndale, though!

    • Hi southsidejdot, thank you for the clarification – Google Maps had outlined a smaller subset of North Lawndale defined as “Douglass Park”, which included both the park and several blocks to the east. However, this does not accurately reflect the official community area, and we updated the article to North Lawndale

      • Sure thing! Yeah, Google Maps tends to do that. There are even areas I’ve never heard of, like “Ranch Triangle” for example. I believe real estate companies have a lot to do with it. Had to reach out to Google regarding Pilsen borders reaching over to Bridgeport.
