Demolition permits have been issued for 1844 W Irving Park Road in North Center. The site has B3-2 zoning and the owner is listed as 2020 15th Avenue LLC. The permit allows for the removal of the existing three-story masonry mixed-use building.
The site lot is situated between N Wolcott Avenue and N Ravenswood Avenue amongst other masonry buildings. The Irving Park Road station for the CTA L Brown Line service is a two-minute walk east. This is a very walkable area and there are a number of popular restaurants and retail options along Irving Park Road.
Carlos Group Inc will be serving as the demolition contractor for the project. Permits have not been filled for any future builds at this site.
