A new permit was issued on Thursday for a new three-story multi-unit building at 1327 S Fairfield Avenue in the North Lawndale neighborhood. Linda Signeri is listed as the permit owner and plans indicate this project will yield a total of three dwelling units and a basement. The development site is currently a vacant lot.
Joosung Sohn is listed as the architect of record for this project. While there aren’t any further details available at this time, the permit does indicate the presence of brick and masonry contractors.
Transportation is readily available with the nearest bus service available for Route 94 at the California & 14th Street stop via a three-minute walk southwest. The CTA Pink Line can also be accessed at the California station via a 15-minute walk south. There are many retail, dining, and social options in the vicinity, many of which are located within walking distance of the property site.
Je & Son Interior Remodeling will act as the general contractor for the $600,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
