A permit for new construction has been issued for a property located at 2711 North Dayton Street in Wrightood Neighbors. The permit, which was applied for on June 26 and issued on July 30, allows for the construction of a three-story, two-unit residential building with rear terraces at the first and second stories, a rear stair to the third story, a rooftop deck with a pergola and stair enclosure, and a detached three-car garage with a rooftop deck and pergola.
The building will be self-certified by architect John Hanna. The total fee for the permit is $4,769.22, with $3,269.22 paid towards building fees and $1,500 towards zoning fees. The reported cost of the project is $1,468,650.
When complete, the property will be located a short walk from CTA stations servicing the Brown, Red, and Purple Lines.
