A permit has been issued for a renovation and alteration project at 847 West Ainslie Street In Margate Park. The permit was issued on June 20 after a standard plan review process that took 182 days.
The project, part of the 2019 SPR North ADU Pilot Area, involves converting an existing six-unit building to a seven-unit building. Interior alterations with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work will be carried out in the existing 3-story brick building.
The reported cost of the project is $1,700,000. Various fees were paid for the permit, including a $9,825.80 building fee, a $75 zoning fee, and $626 in other fees, totaling $10,526.80. The project is being led by owner 847 Ainslie LLC. Plans were designed by Andrew Wang.
847 West Ainslie Street is located a short walk from stops for the 136, 146, 148, and 151 bus lines.
