This past week, a demolition permit was issued to remove a two-story masonry multi-unit residence along with a detached masonry garage located at 4323 N Bell Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The permit’s owners have been listed as 4323 Bell LLC. The property has an RS-3 designation and a permit was issued for plans that have been submitted for the construction of a two-story single-family home with a basement, a detached two-vehicle garage, and fencing around the property.
There are plenty of access points for transportation with Route 78 as the closest bus service option to this property. This route can be found at the intersection of Montrose & Oakley via a three-minute walk northwest. The CTA L Brown Line can be found at the Montrose station via a 12-minute walk northeast. Welles Park is a seven-minute walk north of the property site, and there are many shopping and dining options within walking distance as well.
Viewpoint Services Inc is serving as the demolition contractor on this project. At the time of publication, no timeline has been revealed for the upcoming construction.
