This coming Wednesday, August 24th, the Chicago Architecture Center will host a virtual event that will examine the careers and the artistry of George Healy and Louis Millet. The event will elaborate on how Healy and Millet met, as well as the start of their illustrious careers in Chicago which found them partnering with the likes of Louis Sullivan.
Healy and Millet made a name for themselves through their distinctive stained glass creations, many of which can be found throughout Chicago’s most iconic buildings, most notably the Auditorium Building and Chicago’s Cultural Center.
The event will be held via Zoom at 12 pm central time. Tickets are listed at $15 and are available to the public for purchase at the Chicago Architecture Center’s site. Admission is free for all Chicago Architecture Center members. Registration details and tickets may be accessed on the Chicago Architecture Center’s website.
