Permits were issued on Friday for the construction of a three-story residential building which will be located at 2658 N Bosworth Avenue in Lincoln Park. The permit owner is listed as EZMB LLC, and the scope includes three residential units along with a basement. Terraces will be included at the front and rear of the building on the first floor, and the second and third floors will have front-facing decks, as well as a communal deck on the roof. There will also be a three-vehicle garage with its own roof deck. There is an existing building on site.
John C Hanna is listed as the architect of record for this project. Given the recency of the permit, there are no publically available renderings or plans. There are several masonry contractors listed indicating that this build will likely include brickwork.
Future residents will find the nearest available transit via a four-minute walk northeast to the Diversey & Greenview stop where Route 76 can be boarded. CTA Brown and Purple Lines can be accessed by foot at the Diversey stop which is an 18-minute walk east. There are a plethora of dining and shopping options available along nearby N Ashland Avenue as well as W Diversey Parkway, all within a 10-minute walk of the property site.
EZMB LLC will also act as the general contractor on the $1.19 million build. No demolition permits have been issued for the existing structure. Once demolition permits are issued, the project will be free to commence.
