Alejandro Palos has been granted a permit for the construction of a new three-story, three-unit residential building at 1139 South Mozart Street in Humboldt Park. The permit, issued on August 15, comes after a 62-day standard plan review process that began with the application submission on June 14.

The new building will feature a front stair, rear porch with stair, and a three-vehicle parking pad in the rear. The permit fees for this project total $5,403.00, with $3,450.00 paid for building fees, $75.00 for zoning fees, and $1,878.00 in other fees. The reported cost of the construction is estimated at $350,000.00.

Peter Sterniuk, based in Chicago, is the architect for the project. When complete, the property will be a short walk from a number of bus lines.
