Construction permits have been issued for a new residential building at 2343 W Belden Avenue in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Both owner and developer of this property, the firm 2343 Belden LLC plans to erect a new three-story, two-unit building, which will come with a roof deck, a basement level, and a new frame two-vehicle garage with its own rooftop deck.
Structural work has reached the third floor of 1039-41 W Belmont Avenue, a four-story mixed-use building currently underway in Lake View. Cumin Restaurant is the occupying owner, filed under the name Kathmandu Properties in the original construction permit. The new structure will replace a former two-story masonry building that received demolition permits in May 2019.

Developed by 1437 North California LLC, the pair of two-story structures will each house two units for a total of four dwellings. The buildings will also each include a basement, a rooftop deck, and a three-car parking pad.
