Zoning Board of Appeals Passes Variances for 3449 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View

The Zoning Board of Appeals has approved variances for a five-story residential development at 3449 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View. The project site is situated at the southeast corner of the intersection of N Ashland Avenue and W Cornelia Avenue and has approximately 200 feet of street frontage. Contemporary Concepts Inc is the developer for the project which will replace two existing commercial masonry buildings. Demolition permits for the existing buildings were issued in March of this year. Permits for the construction itself have yet to be filed.

Demolition Permits Issued for 3415-25 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View

Demolition permits have been issued for three masonry buildings located at 3415-25 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View. Developed by Contemporary Concepts in partnership with Wildwood Investments, the replacing project will be a four-story residential building, with a total of 53 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. Five of these units will be affordable housing under the city’s Affordable Requirements Ordinance.

Zoning Approved for Residential Development at 3415 N Ashland Avenue in Lakeview

The proposed zoning has been approved for a residential development at 3415 N Ashland Avenue in Lake View. Located along N Ashland Avenue, the site is between W Cornelia Avenue and W Roscoe Street. The southern edge of the site is directly adjacent to the CTA Brown Line elevated tracks. Contemporary Concepts, in partnership with Wildwood Investments, is behind the development.
